Here I was, in my twenties, unable to function sexually. I had an issue. A big issue.

And I wasn’t just hit by erectile dysfunction. My libido was almost gone as well. I didn’t think of sex, I didn’t have any random sexual thoughts, and I didn’t really want sex. My sex drive was gone.

I was confused. Lost. Irritated. Angry. Sad. But I got myself together little by little. I accepted that I had two big issues. Then I started to think about how to recover.

What could I do to overcome my problems?

Since I was completely in the dark at this point, I decided it was a good idea to try to educate myself about my conditions – erectile dysfunction and libido problems.

I wanted a complete understanding of my conditions, I was desperate to understand the root causes of my issues.

If I understood why and how these issues happened, maybe I could figure out how to fix myself?

I started with the internet. This is where I begun searching and educating myself about problems with erectile dysfunction and libido.

What were they? Why did they occur? What were the causes of my problems?

Back then, there was much less information on the web than there is today, but I found several good articles, research studies, news stories, and so on.

And I read every relevant article that I could find.

I spent hours in discussion forums to absorb as much information as I possibly could.

To learn more, I purchased books and watched videos online.

I found a few suggestions and pieces of advice. Some sources advised foods to eat to get rid of these problems, others suggested supplements, exercises, and different changes in lifestyle.

At this time I had no idea if it was good or bad advice, but I didn’t have any previous knowledge or experience, so I jumped into it.

I tried anything and everything.

I tried lots of different supplements and herbs, tried different diets, different exercise regimes, tried to sleep more and better, tried stressing less and made other lifestyle adjustments.

I hoped there would be a quick fix.

But this quest for a solution to my problems turned out to be the longest and most important project I’ve ever undertaken.

In fact, it took me more than 10 years to find a solution.

But I was refusing to give up. I was determined to come up with a solution.

However, I wasn’t very organized in approaching my problems.

I tried a few of things, then I moved on to something else. In many cases I didn’t try something for long enough or with suitable conscientiousness to see any results.

I didn’t keep a record of what I did, so I often forgot what I did in the past.

And I just didn’t have much success.

But:

I had three very interesting discoveries: one was about a diet change, one was about a hiking holiday, and the third was about herbal supplements.

Let’s talk about the diet discovery first.

For a period of my life, I maintained a very unhealthy diet. It consisted of the cheapest breakfast cereal and cow’s milk, lunch with bread and peanut butter, and dinner was pasta and pasta sauce.

For several months, this was more or less what I ate every day. No fruits, vegetables, nuts or mushrooms.

I had zero sex drive during this period, and I hardly ever had erections.

During this period, I started dating a lovely woman who was also a vegetarian. We started making lots of food together, and all of a sudden, I drastically changed my diet to a varied and nutritionally rich diet.

And guess what!

My libido jumped back to life after only a couple of days! All of a sudden I got erections again, and I could have had sex! It was an incredible discovery. I couldn’t believe it!

The second interesting discovery I had, was when I was on a week-long hiking trip in sunny mountains.

During this trip, I was hiking in the sun, getting fresh air, eating well, sleeping well, not stressing and enjoying good friends’ company.

However, something funny started happening:

I noticed that I was getting unusually horny towards the middle of the hiking trip. I started to have random sexual thoughts and sometimes I would even get spontaneous erections.

It was very, very unusual!

And my erections would last very long. Unusually long.

What was happening? Why would a mountain hike bring my libido back to life?

The third interesting discovery came from testing herbal supplements.

Although they usually didn’t work, with two of them I had some success: tribulus terrestris and horny goat weed.

I felt a slight increase in sensations from sex when I took those supplements, meaning the sensations from sex were somewhat amplified.

And getting erections might have been slightly easier.

The effects were weak, however, and by no means sufficient to help me with my issues. But it was an interesting discovery, nevertheless.


The Solution To My Erectile Dysfunction

So how was I able to cure my erectile dysfunction?

Well, it’s a long story and it involved trying and experimenting everything under the sun that I thought could have a positive impact.

It also involved getting dependent on pharmaceutical drugs and using them to the point where the effect from them stopped. Meaning, taking these pills didn’t work anymore because my body had built up tolerance to them.

But..

I was able to cure my erectile dysfunction by changing the way I lived my life.

I changed how I lived my life. I started living much healthier.

I started to eat better, to exercise more, to sleep better, to stress less, to change my approach to sex, masturbation and porn, and bit by bit, my body woke up again. I started to slowly work sexually again.
